Estas ilustraciones fueron creadas tras asistir a un taller de co-creación con el equipo EMPOWER+ (Cicely Saunders Institute-KCL). Tras haber realizado una serie de talleres en al comunidad, con la información subyacente procedieron a redactar protocolos de la visión y propóstito de su proyecto a través de metodología cualitativa. Me di cuenta de cómo los procesos cualitativos favorecen la creatividad, ya que clasificamos parte de la información como «metáforas», y de una de ellas surgió la siguiente ilustración, que fue impresa como postal y repartida en eventos en la comunidad.
I drew this illustrations as a result of the experience of attending a co-creation workshop with the EMPOWER+ team (Cicely Saunders Institute-KCL). They develeloped a few workshops in the community and then they proceded to classify the information and write a collated vision of the project through qualitative analysis. I realized how qualitative methodology engages creativity as we clasified part of the information as «metaphors», and one of them origined this illustration, which has been shared as a postcard on community events.
Las ilustraciones siguieron un proceso de evaluación por parte de un grupo de pacientes que forma parte del proyecto (grupo de «living experts», «PLEDGE»), y tras su visión realicé los cambios que necesitaron para ser lo más inclusivas y representativas posibles. De esta reunión surgieron algunas notas ilustradas.
The illustrations followed up a process of evaluation by a group por patients living experts («PLEDGE»). From their vision I made the changes the drawings needed to be as much inclusive and representative as possible. From this meeting I made some graphic notes.
