Ilustraciones en forma de iconos para la APP E-Salut Ictus (Institut Català de la Salut, MetroNord) en la que se incluye información para pacientes y familiares sobre el ictus, las distintas etiologías, consejos de prevención secundaria y hábitos de vida, consejos de rehabilitación e información de las esferas anímicas y cognitivas tras el ictus. Este trabajo fue presentado como comunicación oral en el LXXV Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Neurología 2024.

Series of illustrated icons for the APP E-Salut Ictus (Institut Català de la Salut, MetroNord). The APP includes information for patients and their families about stroke, their different ethiologies, secondary prevention and lifestyle advice, rehabilitation exercises and information about the cognitive and emotional spheres. This work has been presented as a talk in the LXXV Conference of the Spanish Neurology Society 2024.

De esta experiencia se desarrolló asimismo un fanzine para el evento local del Día Internacional del Ictus en 2023 en un hospital terciario (Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol, Badalona). El fanzine contiene en su interior el acrónimo «RAPID» (R riure, A aixecar els braços, P parlar, I ictus, D de pressa!) con la idea de que tras leer el fanzine éste pueda servir como cartel informativo y que los lectores continúen con la cadena de la prevención. Este trabajo fue presentado en el Congreso Internacional de Medicina Gráfica en 2024 (Athlone, Irlanda), y publicado en la revista Graphic Medicine Review.

This experience included the creation of a zine for a local celebration of the World Stroke Day 2023 in a third-level hospital in Catalonia (Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol, Badalona). The zine includes an inner page with an A3 illustration summarizing the “FAST” acronym (F means face, A identifies arm, S stands for speech, and T means time is of the essence). The purpose of the inner page is to work as a poster which could be shared in public common spaces, stimulating patients to be part of the health education chain as leading voices of the illness experience. This work has been presented in the Graphic Medicine International Conference 2024 (Athlone, Ireland) and published in the magazine Graphic Medicine Review.
